Life Beyond Circumstances

Michael & Shelly Warner

Like millions of other people, I live with an injury and with an illness.  I was diagnosed with Epilepsy during my teen years, and later in my adult life, I suffered a traumatic C5 spinal cord injury.  Each has impacted my life and all those around me.  It is because of these heroes that I have decided to share my story.

I created this site to celebrate the ‘Ray of light’ that often is overlooked in the midst of such events.  If you are a parent of a child with an illness, a caregiver, live with any illness  or had a traumatic injury, I hope to somehow connect with you.

My intentions are to bring a smile to your face, remind you that adversity affects us all, and to inspire you to never lose hope.  I have also included some of my favorite photos so you can enjoy the places I appreciate most, and some of the photos that remind me how lucky I am to be holding a camera.

While I realize, “Out of many, I am only one”,  I understand that I am only as strong as  the unsung heroes who have all been by my side through thick and thin.  I hope that my experiences will let me connect and inspire those who may need some words of encouragement.

Welcome

“The blessings that you discover through your personal trials often times are not revealed in your body, but in your mind and spirit.

In the quiet times of the night remember-somewhere I will be saying a prayer for you.  Somehow, someway, God will make your trial a blessing.  Finding the blessing is up to you.”
